The Resilient Dairy Genome Project (RDGP) is a Large-Scale Applied Research Project funded by Genome Canada. The overall aim of the project is to enhance Canadian dairy industry sustainability by integrating genomic approaches to improve dairy cattle resilience.

Dr. Ellen Goddard of the University of Alberta will be giving a seminar entitled “Do we know that the public wants gene edited livestock products: A short history of Canadian public research on gene editing to remove horns from dairy cows and diseases from pigs.”
